Is January 7th a moment of truth for the Supreme Court?
The Supreme Court will hear oral arguments for stay of two vaccine mandates
Why is the Supreme Court of the United States silent? was my first post on substack, about the illegality and consequences of the vaccine mandates. Fast forward to today, the oral arguments in front of the Supreme Court on Jan 7th is a moment of truth, a roar moment, when the Supreme Court can dismiss the vaccine mandates. Not only the country, the entire world is watching.
There are many reasons for the Supreme Court to order a stay for the vaccine mandates:
legal. There is no legality for the vaccine mandates: a) separation of powers, Congress did not explicitly delegate this power to the executive and b) what is the legality of mandating experimental vaccines, considering the vaccines don't work and the vaccines are options? It’s nonsense to mandate an optional and experimental vaccine.
health. The health benefits of the covid-19 experimental vaccines are minimal if not negative. An update is here about vaccine effectiveness.
liberties & rights. Is the body autonomy a right? Is the choice to live or die a right? Is a medical treatment choice a right? These all are human rights, of course, and they must be respected.
personal. Trust in government, society and other professionals like medical eroded to a point where it is a class warfare.
There are statements in 'support' of the vaccine mandate such as: a) "covid-19 vaccination is good for the common good, to protect the community and the society" or b) "get vaccinated to end the pandemic". Statements like these have several flaws that can be unraveled by simple questions:
what good for my family if I am injured by a covid-19 vaccine?
what good for society if I am injured by a covid-19 vaccine?
what good for society if I can transmit the covid-19 virus after vaccination?
what good for society if I can have a breakthrough infection and end up in a hospital after vaccination?
what good for society if I die from the covid-19 vaccine?
Some people might claim the adverse reactions are very rare. Are they? We know by now, these are not rare events. Even if the adverse events would be rare, do I have the freedom to decide for myself what risk to take? No, I don't, the vaccine mandates force me to take a vaccine to have a job and live a decent life. Then why somebody else must decide about my life? Nobody, including the Supreme Court, has an answer, because nobody should decide my life but me.
Of course, some of the reactions from the covid-19 disease are similar to the vaccine adverse reactions. Still, nobody knows better than the individual what's better for him / her and how to live his / her life. For these reasons, medical treatments should be a personal decision. And the Supreme Court must recognize this.
The Supreme Court has a duty, to preserve the spirit and the soul of the United States, and to stop the vaccine mandates. The world depends on the United States moral stature. Otherwise, I'm afraid, the world after Jan 7th will be a totalitarian wild world.
