Yes!

People need to constantly apply this principle:

'YOU CLAIM; YOU PROVE."

VERIFY. VERIFY. VERIFY.

We can simply do the verification by demanding them to back up their claims with irrefutable evidence. if they cannot, or would not, demand that they pay you the $1million they owed you. If they, then, suddenly demand evidence, they you got them! From my experience, their responses would be some wry, sheepish smiles.

It is obvious to me that we allow them to dictate debates and hence control by merely responding and trying to disprove their lies, rather demanding them to prove what they say; and remind them of their track records. For example, anyone who knew the track record of Prof Neil Ferguson would not believe him to tell them the day of the week! And ask why would govts and others quoted him with approval.

The problem is that democracy is just an illusion. We don't really have any power. We just think we do.
